Pitfour Sporting Estates |
The Fishery. |
| Pitfour Estate, the former home of the Ferguson family, counted amongst one
of the largest estates in Aberdeenshire for 200 years. In 1790 Admiral Ferguson created the 36 acre lake to beautify the policies. Still now you can appreciate the impressive architecture complemented by the work of nature over two centuries. The shelter of mature trees and Rhododendrons is a perfect setting for a peaceful and enjoyable fly fishing day out. |
