Loch Fitty Fishery

The Fishery.

is a natural loch full of hard fighting fish. It lies in a rural valley some three miles north east of Dunfermline in Fife three quarters of an hours drive from Edinburgh and an hour away from Glasgow and within easy reach of Stirling, Perth and Dundee

Stocking

This takes place twice weekly at the height of the season, except for the coarse fishery.

 

Facilities.

Fishing Loch FittyLoch Fitty which is 170 acres in size, is one of the FINEST FISHERIES IN SCOTLAND offering the angler not only excellent fishing but also very good on shore facilities of a coffee shop, tackle shop, toilets and car park all of the highest standard. You will find our staff both helpful and friendly.

Permit costs & bookings.

West Bay, which is open for fishing from 9 am to Dusk, offers bank fly fishing for specimen trout ranging in size from 3 lbs to 15 lbs. The costs are £24 for 2 trout for 4 hours,
£34 - 3 trout - 5 hours
£44 – 4 trout – 5 hours.

There is no catch and release.

East Bay is for Bait Fishing from the Bank for Trout.
No Catch and Release. Fishing is from 9 am to Dusk.

Lodge Bay is for Carp, Rudd, Roach and Perch.
Keep nets are not encouraged except for Matches.
