Whinney Loch FISHERY
Whinney Farm, Westloch, Coldingham, Berwickshire, TD14 5QE.

The Fishery.

The whinney loch is a secluded 3 acre bank fishery offering fantastic Dry fly , Nymph and Wet fly fishing for hard fighting Blues Rainbows and Brown trout. It is situated in the picturesque surroundings on the Berwickshire Coast close to coldingham and St Abbs and is easily accessible from the A1. Fishing is with floating line with a single de-barbed hook. No large lures, static Boobys, sinking lines or roly-poly retrieve allowed.

Stocking:

The fishery is regularly stocked with prime qualityhard fighting fish raised onsite at the hatchery ranging from 2lb upwords

Permit costs & bookings.

Comfortably furnished fishing lodge with toilet with complimentary self service hot drinks and cooking facilities. Small selection of Flies and emergency fishing tackle. Rod hire on site.

How to find us:

To find westloch from Coldingham leave the village going North on the A1107 (Edinburgh) Road. Turn right immediately at the school onto Westloch Road. This single no through road will take you to Westloch approximately 1.5miles. The entrance to Whinney loch is on the left side immediately opposite to the main gate of Westloch House
